Tabu Boutique has been a cherished destination for unique, handcrafted treasures since 1987, and in 2021, Kristen took the reins, infusing the shop with her passion for storytelling, creativity, and community. As a mother of two, wife of a United States Army veteran, and full-time English Professor, Kristen understands the value of connection and tradition. Coming from a long line of entrepreneurs—her grandmother was one of the founding family members of the iconic Genovese drugstore chain—she has a deep respect for building something meaningful and lasting.
At Tabu, she is proud to continue the boutique’s legacy of curating eclectic collections that celebrate craftsmanship and individuality. Whether it’s supporting local artists or discovering treasures from around the world, she is committed to offering pieces that inspire joy and tell a story.
